About this game
Rope Swing is a one-button swinging game. Hold to shoot your rope at the glowing peg ahead and swing. Let go to fly. Your rope reels in while you hang on, so every swing gets faster, and letting go on the way up sends you furthest. Reach the shrine at the end of the course and ring the gong.
Eight worlds of fifteen courses each add something new: sliding pegs over a lantern river, wind and cracking pegs in the peaks, spike balls in a canyon, bounce clouds, portals under the moon, turning pegs and fire jets in a forge, and a final summit that mixes it all. Every world ends in a long challenge course.
The rule takes seconds to learn, but letting go at the right moment takes practice. Courses are short, so a few of them fit nicely into a break.
Controls
- Mouse hold the button to grab the glowing peg, release to let go
- Keyboard hold Space or Up to grab, release to let go, P or Esc to pause, M for music
- Touch hold anywhere to grab, lift your finger to let go
