Star Forge

About this game

Star Forge is an idle space factory game on a station floating above a warm rust-red planet. Drones fly out to the asteroid belt and bring back ore, and a conveyor carries it through a forge, a refinery, an assembler and a shipyard. Each module turns two of the previous product into one worth four times as much, and whatever the next module can't use is sold at the trade port.

Keeping the line balanced is the heart of the game: the slowest module holds back everything after it, and every module doubles its speed at level 10, 25, 50, 100 and beyond. The station grows as you play. Chiefs speed up their modules and are promoted with badges, the research lab turns data into twenty-five upgrades across five branches, and traders queue at the port with timed orders that build your reputation.

Each station has its own bonus building, from a tractor beam to a sky garden, and four more stations open around new worlds: an icy ringed planet, a green gas giant, crystal fields and the edge of a star, each with its own goods.
