About this game
Star Warden is a 2.5D shoot-em-up. Your warden ship holds the lower half of the screen and fires on its own. You steer between waves of clay rocks, drones and gun turrets, collect stardust and charge a Nova bomb for when things get crowded.
The campaign runs through eight sectors of fifteen stages each. Every sector brings something new: splitting rocks, mine fields, shielded gunners, frost turrets, kamikaze swarms, carriers, lightning lanes and spiral patterns. Gate stages send a mini-boss, and the last stage of each sector is a boss with several phases.
Since you never have to think about firing, all your attention goes into moving and reading the gaps. That makes it very comfortable to play on a phone with one finger.
Controls
- Mouse move to steer, click or X for the Nova bomb
- Keyboard Arrow keys or WASD to steer, X or Shift for the Nova bomb, P or Esc to pause
- Touch drag anywhere to steer, tap the Nova button to fire the bomb
