Color Flood

About this game

Color Flood is a calm but thoughtful flood fill puzzle. Your paint starts on a spring tile. Each move you pick a colour: your patch turns that colour and swallows every touching tile of the same colour. Fill the whole board within the move limit, and the fewer moves you use, the more stars you get.

The campaign has 120 boards on eight floating islands. Every island adds something new: shaped boards with holes, padlocked tiles that open when your paint touches them, paint bombs that colour the tiles around them, portals that let your paint leak out of a twin tile, frozen tiles that need two touches, and chameleon tiles that change colour after each move. The last board of every island is a challenge board.

Every board is checked by a solver when it is made, so each one can be filled and the three-star mark is a real target. Each colour also carries its own mark (stripes, dots, slashes, rings, crosses, triangles), so you can play by shape as well as by colour.
