About this game

In Neon Nostalji you inherit your uncle's tiny arcade: cracked linoleum, faded yellow walls and a single broken cabinet. Fix it, sell the first tokens and order new machines from the old CRT computer on the counter. They arrive by cargo van in boxes you open and place yourself, from wobbly tube cabinets to pinball tables, table football, air hockey, gamer PCs, racing rigs, flight simulators, VR rooms and streamer booths.

Every machine in this arcade tycoon is a real mini-game: fifteen of them, from snake and breakout to air hockey, a claw machine and a rhythm game. A cheap cabinet shows a jagged, flickering tube, while a luxury one runs smooth with bloom. Beat the high score and you type your three letters on the board.

Run the place day by day. Customers have budgets, favourites and needs, and staff clean, repair and serve. Fuses trip when you overload the power, and the room heats up without air conditioning. Floors, walls, neon signs and colour harmony raise the atmosphere, which brings more visitors and a better reputation. Licenses, land, a rival arcade across the street, seasons, holidays and 130 career milestones keep you busy for weeks. Every image and sound is generated in code.
