About this game
Tile Pairs is a mahjong-style solitaire tile-matching game set on a small tea table. Chunky ivory tiles are stacked in layers, and each shows a picture: jade dots, bamboo sticks, red numerals, suns, fish or pines. Tap two matching tiles to lift them off. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and its left or right side is open, so the order you choose decides whether the stack comes apart cleanly.
The campaign has 120 levels in eight worlds, from the Tea House to the Blossom Garden. Every world adds a rule: tiles that rest across two below, flowers and seasons that match within their family, night tiles that hide their faces until they open, frozen tiles that thaw with each match, ribbon locks opened by a key pair, and firework pairs that clear one more pair by themselves.
Every level is generated with its solution checked in code, so each board can be cleared.
Controls
- Mouse click a free tile, then click its match
- Keyboard arrow keys or WASD move between free tiles, Enter or Space picks, H hint, X shuffle, Z undo, P or Esc pause, M sound
- Touch tap a free tile, then tap its match
